To perform this, you will need the following 2 products: <\/p>\n\n<p>A <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.nlq24.eu\/en\/?post_type=product&amp;p=89368\" data-type=\"product\" data-id=\"89367\">shut-off valve<\/a> <\/strong> and a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.nlq24.eu\/en\/?post_type=product&amp;p=89365\" data-type=\"product\" data-id=\"89364\">flow limiter<\/a><\/strong>. The two linked products are for the 7 Star system. They are two central components of a reverse osmosis system that perform different but interacting functions.    <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Shut-off valve <\/strong>:<br\/>Needed to prevent the system from continuing to run once the storage tank is full. Without this valve, water would continuously drain as wastewater.<br\/>\u2192 <strong>Required for all tank-based osmosis systems.<\/strong>  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flow restrictor<\/strong>:<br\/>Regulates the wastewater flow to build up the necessary back pressure on the membrane. This enables reverse osmosis and optimises the ratio of pure water to wastewater. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do these two parts work together?<\/h2>\n\n<p>The <strong>flow restrictor<\/strong> provides the pressure that allows the membrane to work.  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>shut-off valve<\/strong> uses the pressure from the storage tank to stop the flow of water when the tank is full.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both work together with the pre-filters.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Important: They do not work reliably with clogged filters.
