1. remove the protective cap (black)
First rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it with a paper towel.
Switch on the pH value with “ON/OFF”. The switch is on the top of the housing.
Immerse the pH meter electrode in the solution to be tested.
5 Stir gently and wait until the display remains stable. Now you have the pH value!
6. switch off the unit again after use.
Clean the electrode again with distilled water. Let it dry and replace the protective cap.
The device is already calibrated. A new calibration is necessary if the instrument has been exposed to high or strong acid/base loads for a longer period of time. Therefore it should always be rinsed very well with distilled water after use. If a calibration is necessary, proceed as follows:
1. create a test solution:
1 tsp sodium bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) per 100 ml. Water. Stir it briefly.
2. set the unit to “on” and immerse up to the max. Measuring depth into the solution. The pH value must now be 8
. If this is not the case, turn it with the calibration screwdriver to the value 8.0 pH.
When the display becomes weak, replace all batteries. To do this, pull the battery compartment out of the device. Observe the polarity when inserting the new batteries.
The statutory warranty period applies. If damage has not been caused by negligence or improper operation, the warranty shall lapse.
All the best!
