Pipettes

pipettes are well suited for removing small quantities from glass bottles. For these closed pipettes, remove liquids as follows. First, squeeze the rubber bellows between your fingers without dipping the pipette into the liquid. Then dip the pipette into the liquid you want to remove. Finally, slowly reduce the pressure to the rubber bellows. Due to the negative pressure created in the pipette rubber, the pipette now sucks in your liquid. This allows you to take up liquid in the pipette and to drop it out again drop by drop by pressing it slowly between 2 fingers again. This allows both drop-by-drop dosing and application of the drops to objects. If you reduce the pressure on the rubber bellows too quickly, air can be sucked into the pipette as well.
The pipettes consist of a rubber bellows at the tip which is integrated in a cap. The suction tube is made of glass. Therefore it is safe to use and compatible for many liquids. I recommend rinsing the pipette with clear water after each use. This extends the life of the pipette.
The pipettes are available in different lengths. Not every pipette fits in every bottle. Therefore, there are notes for each of them.
