Sets Sodium Chlorite + Acid

The sets consist of a sodium chlorite solution 25% and hydrochloric acid 4% or dextrorotatory lactic acid 21% in very high quality.

Sodium chlorite 25 %in top quality:
This sodium chlorite solution is very pure and contains only sodium chlorite and demineralized water. Other foreign components: 0.0 %
This is an EU quality product without additives and foreign salts. So it is not “technical quality” but quality of the highest order. It complies with DIN EN 938 Type 1. The production is synthesized.

Hydrochloric acid 4 %:
The hydrochloric acid 4% offered here is of the highest quality and can be used as a food additive. Again, this is not “technical quality”.

Right-turning lactic acid 21%
This lactic acid is also known as 2-hydroxypropanoic acid. It is an organic acid which occurs as a metabolic product in plant and animal organisms. Lactic acid is a clear, colorless to slightly yellowish liquid. At least then, as long as it is still pure. It tastes sour. The salts of lactic acid are called “lactate”. It is also suitable as activator for sodium chlorite to chlorine dioxide. The reaction is slower with lactic acid than with hydrochloric acid. But in return it is very sustainable.

The material of the bottles:
The chlorine dioxide sets are filled in glass bottles or in chemical-resistant, shatterproof PP bottles. HDPE bottles have proven to be not permanently fully durable. Especially with the sodium chlorite solution.
