Sets, Sodium Chlorite and Acid

The sets consist of a sodium chlorite solution 25 % and hydrochloric acid 4 % or dextrorotatory lactic acid 21 % in very high quality.

Sodium chlorite 25 % in top quality:

This sodium chlorite solution is very pure and contains only sodium chlorite and demineralized water. Other, foreign components: 0,0 %.

This is an EU quality product without additives and foreign salts. It is therefore not “technical quality” but quality of the highest grade. It complies with DIN EN 938 type 1. The production is synthesized.

The Hydrochloric Acid 4 % offered to you here is of the highest quality and is approved as a food additive. Again, it is not “technical grade”.

This lactic acid is also called 2-hydroxypropanoic acid. It is an organic acid found as a metabolic product in plant and animal organisms. Lactic acid is a clear, colorless to slightly yellowish liquid. At least if it is still unchanged pure. It tastes sour. The salts of lactic acid are called “lactates”. It is also suitable as an activator for sodium chlorite to form chlorine dioxide. The reaction proceeds more slowly with lactic acid than with hydrochloric acid. But it is very sustainable.

With this set you buy a high quality product.

The material of the bottles:

The chlorine dioxide sets are filled in glass bottles or in chemical resistant, unbreakable PP bottles. HDPE bottles they have not proven to be durable fully resistant. Especially with the sodium chlorite solution.
