DMSO100 Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO min. 99.9%)

This DMSO has a very high quality and purity. The purity meets the requirements for pharmaceutical quality (see DMSO100 Certificate of Analysis). The very good quality is also confirmed by my satisfied customers of many years. This DMSO comes from pharmaceutical batches. So this DMSO is not technical grade. This substance is free of carcinogenic substances. The density is 1,099. The purity is between 99,99 % and at least 99,9 %. The water content is only between 0.003% and a maximum of 0.01%. The reduction percentage is only between 0.003% and a maximum of 0.01%. It is offered here as a pure chemical. Smell and taste can be different depending on the batch.

Notes: Keep away from sources of ignition. Avoid eye and skin contact. At low temperatures (below +18°C), DMSO can crystallize. For this reason it should be stored at over 20°C. Should the DMSO crystallize due to too cool storage, simply heat it in a warm water bath. The temperature of the water should not exceed 40°C. This gentle warming makes it liquid and usable again. Heat it nevers in a microwave oven.

It is interesting to note that DMSO does not expand during freezing, such as water. No, it contracts and crystallizes.
