Sources of error with order or payment

Unfortunately, there are sources of error with an order, which can occur in certain constellations. I provide current information on this page.

Problems with payment with Sofortüberweisung

Sofortüberweisung is a payment method of Klarna, which does not include the payment method “Klarna”.

With Sofortüberweisung, you will be guided anonymously to your bank’s online banking. There you log in, as always with online banking. Data will not be transferred to me. Your payment transaction is therefore protected, as always when you use online banking.

The difference is that your online banking sends a message to Sofortüberweisung, which tells my store that you have paid. So the order can be processed immediately, even if the payment may not have reached me immediately.

Problems with new security protocols for instant bank transfers

Currently there is a further development of the well-known security protocol “SSL”. Data transmitted on the Internet is encrypted using this protocol so that it cannot be read during transport.

If the new security protocol is not supported by your browser, your payment may not take place because the old protocols have become too insecure.

If you had a problem with the payment and you do not receive a message from me that the payment has been made, please check if the browser you are using is compatible with the security protocol “TLS 1.2“. An old browser that is not up-to-date may not be able to do this. Therefore, if in doubt, you should simply update your browser to make it work again. This new security protocol, which secures your data, will now gradually become necessary in most online stores to make payments work.

We generally recommend that you use the operating systems Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or MAC OS X at least version 10.9 as a basis. The browsers: Chrome and Firefox usually update themselves automatically or indicate the need for an update.
