This shut-off valve water connection 3/8 x ensures that you can open or close the water supply to your reverse osmosis system. This is necessary if you want to uninstall the system or perform a filter change in which the system must be pressureless. The stopcock also makes it possible to disconnect the system from the water supply if a leak occurs, e.g. at the Reverse osmosis water tap should occur.
It is a new, more stable generation in which the shut-off valve is already integrated in the adapter. So there is a vulnerability less for leaks.
The shut-off valve fits the water connection 3/8 inches and thus to the common reverse osmosis systems. There is an adapter to the osmosis hose 1/4 #
Connect the shut-off valve for reverse osmosis system 3/8 inches
Screw the shut-off valve with Teflon tape or better hemp tape to the connection adapter 3/8 inch. This adapter is previously connected to the water connection on your sink.
Then loosen the cap nut and push the reverse osmosis hose deep into the opening and screw the nut tight afterwards. The crimping seals the connection.
Now you can open the stopcock to test the tightness.
