Stopcock for reverse osmosis system 1/4 inch

This 1/4 inch stopcock for your reverse osmosis system ensures that you can open or close the water supply to your reverse osmosis system. This is necessary if you want to uninstall the unit or carry out a filter change that requires the unit to be depressurised. The stopcock also makes it possible to disconnect the system from the water supply if a leak occurs, e.g. at the Reverse osmosis water tap should occur.

The stopcock fits the 1/4 inch water connection and thus the common reverse osmosis systems.

Connect stopcock for reverse osmosis system 1/4 inch

Screw the stopcock with Teflon tape or better hemp seal to the connection adapter 1/4 inch. This adapter is previously connected to the water connection on your sink.

Then loosen the cap nut and push the reverse osmosis hose deep into the opening and screw the nut tight afterwards. The crimping seals the connection.

Now you can open the stopcock to test the tightness.
