How does a credit card payment via PayPal without a PayPal account work?
To make a credit card payment via PayPal without a PayPal account, select the payment method “PayPal” in the payment process of the online shop.
You will then be redirected to the PayPal payment page.
If nothing happens here, see if you have something suppressing in your browser, like POPUP window.
If this is the case, they release them for this.
When you get there to you will find the option
“By direct debit or credit card“.
Click on it and fill in the appropriate credit card information. NOT the direct debit data.
At the end of the form, all you have to do is activate the two checkboxes to accept the privacy policy and the general terms and conditions and thus accept them. Then your payment can be processed via your credit card.
Once the process is complete, your credit card will be charged, and PayPal will forward the payment to the merchant.
However, this feature is not available to all merchants, as they can decide for themselves whether to allow payments without an account. There are also restrictions: you can pay a maximum of three times without an account before a PayPal account is required, and the total amount cannot exceed 1,500 euros.
If you would like another option, please feel free to ask.
